What if music doesn’t just sound—but also has color?
What if tones and words evoke colors?
For Thijs Ronteltap, a talented musician and producer, this is daily reality.
From a young age, he has seen colors when hearing musical notes, words, and letters.
Over the years, he has learned to use this unique form of sensory perception—synesthesia—creatively: as a source of strength and inspiration, and also as a way to engage with neurodiversity
Experience it Yourself – 3 Saturdays of Color and Sound
On Saturdays, August 30, September 6, and September 20, Thijs hosts interactive sessions where he shares how Synesthesia adds a unique dimension to his music-making process.
You’ll get to know the phenomenon of Synesthesia, discover how tones can be visualised as color, and explore how this experience might add a new dimension to your everyday perception.
