VIII. Justice: Truth

Explanation of this card

“It’s often others who get the blame for what someone has yet to learn.”

The Inner Truth arises from, and resides in, our own soul. On an earthly level there are often many reasons the truth is hidden – or decided by others. Nothing is personal, in the sense that the manner in which the debate about justice is conducted says more about the I of the fighter, than about the reason for the struggle. Or, to put it another way: when someone screams at you in anger, it says more about the screamer than it does about you, the person being screamed at.

As first card of the seven Evolving Soul cards, ‘Justice’ is the gatekeeper of the mindfull truth. On the physical plane lawsuits consist of bundles of files and papers, made up of what people want others to believe. Genuine honesty is only to be found in the Soul.

Insight: Ho’oponopono, the Art of Forgiving

The way someone talks about others, often tells more about the person talking, than about the ones being talked about. The ability to forgive holds the potential to set all involved free.

Characteristics of Justice

Living according to inner truth and values. The eight-fold path, the soul’s path of development.

Trump Cards: Evolving Soul

The Trump Cards, or archetypes are numbered I through XXI, and are distributed over three layers of seven cards each.

1. the Temporal Body (cards I-VII)
2. the Evolving Soul (cards VIII-XIV)
3. the Eternal Spirit (cards XV-XXI)

The Storyteller is the unique Nil Card, who ‘ignorantly’, without preconceived notions, wanders through the experiences of the other 21 trump cards.

The second layer of the Trump Cards (cards VIII-XIV) addresses the evolving soul or peace of mind. This reflects the journey that the soul makes during its earthly existence.

Number: 8

Every number has a unique energy, and therefore a unique meaning and role in the interpretation of the card, in combination with the color or the archetype.

The 8 represents the first insights you’ll find behind the veil of illusions. The number 8 begins adding value. We build upon what is already there, and give it our own interpretation.
